The new system allows for better use of the premium micrograin carbide in hardwoods & MDF products. The way of interlocking by corrugations on the corrugated back steel and the solid carbide knife allows pieces to be ground separately. The backer is made from HSS steel to provide a stronger support. We make 38, 50, 60, and 70 mm widths and working lengths from 10 to 310 mm in 10 mm increments for the cutter-heads which accepts 3/8" thick knives. The knives can be supplied in sets, or carbide or backer only.
